17 More States Now Filing Versions Of Arizona's Immigration Bill SB 1070!

ALIPAC, the Americans for Legal Immigration PAC, has documented that 17 states intend to follow Arizona's lead and fax their state lawmakers to encourage them to support existing SB 1070.  Currently, polls show upwards of 70% support for the law, which models and is less harsh than existing federal law.  Those states are:

ARKANSAS, IDAHO, INDIANA, MARYLAND, MICHIGAN, MINNESOTA, MISSOURI, NEBRASKA, NEVADA, NEW JERSEY, OHIO, OKLAHOMA, PENNSYLVANIA, RHODE ISLAND, SOUTH CAROLINA, TEXAS, UTAH

Janice Hahn (D) and all of California, just because it works for you to ‘relate’ to your ILLEGALS by NOT asking your illegals immigration status IT HASN’T WORKED FOR US HERE IN AZ! So CA, keep your - $8 million. We are very self-sufficient here and will find a way to OVERCOME.

You come here for business or pleasure, then you can leave after that and we will take no offense that you do not want to live under OUR states laws. But you take LEGAL, NATIONAL, WORLDWIDE OFFENSE of our desire to FOLLOW THE FEDERAL LAW, WHICH SB1070 MATCHES???

Did I understand you to say, Ms. Hahn, that California legislation does not ALLOW your law enforcement officials to check the immigration status of a just apprehended person? How safe for the country is that?

You BOYCOTTERS come across as if you (think) you are tossing Arizona under the proverbial bus and kicking us while we are down after that. We are only bolstering our support—and increasing in it (Mr. Moranas); when you READ THE BILL, and FOLLOW its LAW we will be a better, safer, more content, more congruent, more respect-filled country …again.

Joel Rogers declares with no power sources on earth we still can’t stop or fix climate change (2008); but Liberman and Kerry introduce the “AMERICAN POWER ACT”? They say, “It’s going to transform the American economy”. So WHAT in the world IS their goal? “Saving the planet”, “stopping global warming”, “controlling climate change”, “reduce greenhouse gas emission”, or how about (even) “creating jobs”? Google AMERICAN POWER ACT.

Why Are Non-Arizonans So Heated Over AZ Senate Bill 1070, If They've Never Lived Here?

"DAVIS" Why would the trained, professional police and sherriffs of Arizona arrest men eating their lunch? There is no need for even "LAWFUL CONTACT" in your scenario, and the police here typically don't spend time on small talk to workers at lunch, 'what' with all the more serious crime for which they are involved!

What is silly is how many of YOU (along with AL Sharpton leading the charge??) assume OUR police are not trained professionals! Even MORE pathetic is our own state leaders, sports teams, and entities that have the same negative opinion of those who keep our city SAFE for them to cow-tow in as freely as we can and do here (Mayor Phil..., Mr. Lopez, and Mr. Rodriguez, Mr. Trejo and all your Hollywood buddies... )!  I highly respect those members of my family who SERVED and PROTECTED! I often turn to them for advice on how to quell situations, with all the logical thinking they've been trained to use!

AMAZING--ALL OF YOU with your outside opinions of how this always mexican-influenced, beautiful, multi-cultured, racially diverse, proud and hard-working "community" of people should mange its problems with illegal immigration.  Arizona has been adversly portrayed by the media and you "sb1070non-supporters" as overly-populated with white racists, when NO ONE who loves "Arizona, USA" (LIKE I DO) wants to keep suffering from the results of ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION!!

Beck v Ohio: "good faith on the part of the arresting officer is not enough. If subjective good faith alone were the test, the protections of the Fourth Amendment would evaporate, and the people would be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, only in the discretion of the police."

So, let's say there is a Home Depot where illegal immigrants hang out looking for work. This same Home Depot employees legal immigrants who gather outside wearing no uniforms on their lunch break.

The Arizona law basically states that law enforcement not only could but SHOULD go to both groups and demand proof of citizenship.
