17 More States Now Filing Versions Of Arizona's Immigration Bill SB 1070!ARKANSAS, IDAHO, INDIANA, MARYLAND, MICHIGAN, MINNESOTA, MISSOURI, NEBRASKA, NEVADA, NEW JERSEY, OHIO, OKLAHOMA, PENNSYLVANIA, RHODE ISLAND, SOUTH CAROLINA, TEXAS, UTAH
ALIPAC, the Americans for Legal Immigration PAC, has documented that 17 states intend to follow Arizona's lead and fax their state lawmakers to encourage them to support existing SB 1070. Currently, polls show upwards of 70% support for the law, which models and is less harsh than existing federal law. Those states are:
