While I wonder the motives of Andrew Breitbart of BigGovernment.com, to show only the limited clip truly taken out of context, of Shirley Sherrod at a recent NAACP event; I believe Ms. Sherrod's comment that "the stuff FOX News and The Tea Party is doing is scaring The Administration…" is obvious in the Obama administration's continued negative reactionary nature regarding the worsened race-relations for which they have inspired!
Breitbart may be genius in using the 1960's radical theory, of pitting these parties against each other, which brought to light the true level of American racial disharmony as led and fueled by the LIBERAL MEDIA and THE NAACP!! THIS WAS A TEST and Andrew Breitbart knew THE NAACP, the LIBERAL MEDIA, and THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION would "fail"!
Let's only hope THE CONSERVATIVE MEDIA do not fall prey to using the "racial" moniker against Ms. Sherrod when she may be the overall "victim" in this scenario. WHAT THE CONSERVATIVE MEDIA MUST DO—THAT OBAMA RAN HIS ELECTION ON AND LIED TO US ALL REGARDING-- IS TO TAKE MS. SHERROD AS AN "OPPORTUNITY" TO SHOW MANY (who are hesitant to believe) that PEOPLE, LIKE MS. SHERROD, CAN CHANGE WHAT WAS IN THEIR HEART! And let many like her tell their tale of redemption to as many crowds that will listen!
We have to find it in our hearts to support those who are big enough to admit their past, understand their own evils, and are showing publically--like Ms. Sherrod--they have moved forward; and are reaching out to change the thinking of their current (or former) peers—like those at the NAACP event who found reason to chuckle (and insinuate their own continued racism) before knowing her conclusion—and her personal "change".
The NAACP and MANY OF ITS MEMBERS are "racists" just for continuing this organization! Ms. Sherrod—in addressing her past--sounds to me like (only a few… ) Blacks I know who are trying to find a way to tell the story of "racial reconciliation" that occurred first within themselves , their moment of discovery, and taking the first step in admitting it! If she is sincere, she must take her job back; and we must give her and real leaders of "change" a chance to continue to hold leadership positions in as many areas of American government as possible where they sincerely support the entire American agenda.
If she is NOT sincere…
